Golden Quadrilateral - History

Golden Quadrilateral Project or the GQ Project was established to fasten-up the transit connectivity between major ports and cities in India. The project was intended to offer smaller cities better transportation to marketplaces, thereby driving the economic growth of the country.

Laying the foundation stone in 1999 by Atal Bihari Vajpayee - The 10th Prime minister of India - the Golden Quadrilateral Project completed its planning process by 2006. By 2011, the GQ project announced its first 4-land super highway, which was further converted to a 6-lane highway, enchaining the connectivity and boasting the road infrastructure as well.

Golden Quadrilateral and Indian Real Estate

The GQ Superhighway in India can be undoubtedly called the lifeline of the nation's economy and logistics. Along with the North-South Corridor and East-West Corridor, this superhighway helps in connecting the major hubs of India and gives a boost to the transport sector.

It brings the major cities closer, and as we believe, real estate is all about "Location, Location, and Location!" therefore, the closer the locations, are higher their value. Besides connecting numerous cities, towns, and villages in their wake, the residential spaces in the Golden Quadrilateral will always have excellent connectivity and thereby increase appreciation for the land rates. Thus these regions become real estate hotspots and boost our economy further.
